FWIW I had a shitty b-day because Sim had an operation of a “delicate” nature last week and recovery hasn’t gone as planned, therefore I spent the day doing *everything* and being Florence…grumble, grumble….still it was *only* my 28th and I *know* he’ll make it up to me when he’s better. I don’t know how muffin Mums cope on a fulltime basis as I’ve literally done everything for what feels like days and the novelty has seriously worn thin. I’m contemplating boarding school for Pip, full time childminder for Titch and a divorce.
Still, on a brighter note I took Pip for swimming club trials and she passed and has been offered a place club swimming three times a week so that’s good. She even managed a whole length of butterfly that was excellent for the first half, if not the second.
In the absence of my own blog I thought I’d use this comment box for a quick brag as it’s definetly an aspect of blogging I miss.
