The end of the week is nigh 😉
A blah day today really. Another truly crap nighgt, Tarly was in our bed from 1am, at 3am I sent Ady to put her back into her bed and he discovered that the cat had been in her room and pooed on her bed 🙁 So he sent her back up to me and had to clear all that up. Bloody cat!
Davies’ rash is still in situ although it has spread more outwards now and is leaving his torso and heading to his face more. Fingers crossed he will be on the mend tomorrow.
I had been going to see my friend Lucy today but I cancelled it in the end and my parents arrived at lunchtime, with lunch and stayed for the afternoon.
We’d spent the morning making some cookies, watching schools TV, playing with micro machines and polly pockets and generally snuggling up on the sofa.
We had lunch and then Dad headed off about 3pm and Mum played with the kids for a couple of hours while I did various things such as re-making Tarly’s bed with clean bed linen, tidying her room generally and clearing up the kitchen from the earlier chaos that is baking with two children!
Ady got home around 6pm, Mum headed off for home and both children were asleep shortly after 7pm.
Feel like I’ve not done an awful lot either with the children or with the benefit of having someone engage them for a couple of hours but oh well!
Tomorrow Ady and the children are going over to see Chris and the twins while Julie and I hit the NCT nearly new sale which usually turns up a few bargains. I’ve had four CVs from CV Lady which need to be back for Tuesday and there are piles of things in pretty much every room which are suddenly closing in on me so I want to feel like I’ve got something done.
sounds very blah. Still I’m always glad that we *can* have blah days easily enough when they happen, that no-one has to worry about missing school or work, and that they’re not a big deal in the bigger picture.
Hope your weekend is productive, and don’t spend too much money at the nearly new sale!
