we’re back, but D is still awake and putting on ‘a show’ in his bedroom (and I only ever took him to sparkys for about an hour!), parents are here and a takeaway is due any moment.

Sparky – he’s got a lot to answer for. If there was ever an argument for rabbit pie. Hannah got a Sparkle the first year we went, and a Sparky last year. This year she bought bloody Narkey, and then I agreed to a little pipsqueak since we may not be back again. All FOUR of the furry horrors have escorted us around town today. Horrible.

Bloody hell Joyce, isn’t that around 40 quids worth of otherwise unrecognisable stuffed animals? Even me with my *need* to aquire merchandise gave the sparkys shop a wide berth!

Don’t. It has been spread over 3 years, remember. And apart from Pipsqueak (who was only a pound), she bought the rest every year with the tenner Bob always gives her before she goes on holiday. I deny any involvment in it. Though last year we thought she might be really ill again, so I *may* have bought that one in a “WTF does it matter in the scheme of things” sort of way. But not the rest. Your corwn is still safe, Nic 😉

Have seen the photos, some really nice ones among them. As this is a relatively ‘safe’ blog I am hoping for a no holds barred camp update here please, including the BBQ rant! Need to feel as authentically involved as possible!
