Well he seems better this morning. The rash has gone down except in a couple of places where he had really scratched at it and it is now sore. His eyes are still very swollen but his other puffy bits have gone down. He’s got a slightly upset stomach but other than that – and being pretty tired – he seems fine.
Ady’s home again at midday to be with the children this afternoon so they can expect a quiet afternoon mainly watching dvds with him ;-).
Currently they are playing Green Eggs and Ham on Ady’s laptop and the TV remains off knowing it will be well used later! Oh and Tarly has just brought in her Polly Pocket stuff.
Plans for starting a lapbook type project are still in negotiation as I keep thinking of other topics to do it on and can’t decide what to choose before introducing them to the idea! So far I am tossing about dinosaurs, Halloween, Green eggs and ham, Knights, Castles & Dragons or one based around one of their favourite films / dvds. I think I need to make a list and have some ideas for all of them and then let them choose one to start us off. Will come back to that next week.
I’d do Green eggs and ham. it’s your first bash at anything like this and you want to feel like you know what you are doing. Doing it on something you all know about makes it all so much easier. This is also a really good one for reading.
