Not at all sure I can see the point in this but in the style of the album title of a band I quite like ‘Everyone else is doing it so why can’t we’ I’ll give it a go.

  2. Though I’m looking forward to seeing you express yourself in 140 characters 😉

The good bit (imo) is not the twittering, it’s the getting of other people’s twitters on my mobile. The endless banality has not yet lost its novelty value.

  3. well yes that is one of the downsides…
    140 characters when 300 would do? 😆

  4. yes, I like getting the texts from everyone else, it’s fun. Really enjoyed it yesterday – we happened to be in the bike shop and were able to update everyone else there about the football!

  5. trouble is that I don’t get any free texts on my mobile at all, I wish I did. It is very very tempting to twitter while out and about but I have to restrain myself!

  6. I have 200 free texts a month and regularly use less than half, which is one of the reasons I thought I’d give it a go 🙂

  7. Nic, have you checked the texts are free? They are with Orange, but I know they are charged international rate on T-Mobile, not sure about O2 and Vodafone. What I mean is do they count against your free allowance as the number is in Guernsey and is treated by some as international (therefore outside allowance). Interested to know answer.

  8. Sorry I mean Orange is included in allowance but T-Mobile and 3 aren’t.
