Painkillers wore off rather quicker than I’d hoped, just popped another two and will be heading off to bed as soon as the throbbing stops 🙁
Had a salt water mouth wash thingy which made me gag and retch. Salt water is really disgusting you know.
Just realised I don’t actually like brandy unless it is in a liquer chocolate – we only have tesco value brandy anyway so that has also made me gag and retch.
salt water dreadful. you can get a nmore expensive but palatable chlorhexidine mouthwash from any chemist – and tescos which is good for infection as bacteriocidal, and not quite so yuk.
have been off blog last couple days as knackered, and started reading from your home ed one, so will comment on all here.
I think your autonomous home ed is working rewally well. I don’t think you should back away. but yes, I believe constant requestioning of our own motives/fears is what gets to good home ed for any family, so keep on with that!
good luck in new job. I know its a big change/wrench, but I think you will be happier for it [hope so anyway!]
Crapness of tooth – hugs and etheric antibiotics and drugs [nearly metnioned names but thought that migt get me in moderation!

I’ve been wishing it had at least started while we were at yours so I could have raided your medicine stash before we left – it’s cost me thirty quid today in dentist fees, prescription and painkillers – that’s over half the ‘contingency fund’ blown on the first of the month 🙁

Ugh Nic, have you tried Rescue Remedy? It always takes the edge off my toothaches, could be something to do with the fact it’s suspended in brandy though LOL

Huge sympathy, I have a wisdom tooth that is trying to come through too and have the whole jaw ache thing working up to the ear just when I want to lay down. Thankfully its nowhere near as bad as yours sounds tho, I hope the ABs kick in soon for you.

Used to have rescue remedy in the house until Scarlett drank the whole stash in one sitting – reckon it might well be the alcohol that soothes Gill 😉
