As part of my new economy drive instead of rushing out to buy Davies various Incredibles related merchandise after we’d seen the film, I drew pictures of them, managed to swallow my cries of ‘don’t touch them, you’ll ruin them’ at the kids when they helped colour them in and laminate them. They came out okay actually and have been played with loads.

well I copied them out of the book but had to make them much larger obviously! Wasted talent eh 😉 Chris was all impressed with them yesterday and got all excited asking me if I can paint too cos he knows somewhere to sell small paintings from. Funny how when you look back on your childhood there are all sorts of possible skills that could have been developed more and really turned into something. I was always pushed away from art into more academic pursuits…
You could do them as murals for rich kids bedroom walls, and make money at it!
Anyone know any rich kids who want murals painted by a woman who would have to bring her kids along with her then ?

My drawing is appalling, but Poppy and my mum are both pretty good at copying stuff.
After our lovely mosaic last year at Melrose, we’ll have to plan another artistic endeavour, to make sure we utilise the talent available!
Yes, I think Ros does commisions. Nurseries would probably want you to do evenings or weekends anyway, while the kids weren’t their, so Ady could look after your own. Sorted. I KNEW I could be an orgo-planner if I tried. Yawn……
