From the other side…

Not a song lyric, just a need to vent some anger! Without going into huge details or heaven forbid naming the offending company I am soooo pissed off with a large organisation who used to supply our electricity. I have just had yet another letter from them proving that there is no communication between departments, and picked the phone up in my anger and let myself down by being very aggressive with the woman on the other end of their customer services.
I always try really hard not to do that, not least because I have worked in enough jobs where you end up on the wrong side of someone’s anger, which is not even directed at you personally but at the company you work for, and I have had my share of putting the phone down or asking people to speak to me with some respect or calm down so I can help them. I normally don’t ring about stuff like this cos I know I end up being the most evil cow and it doesn’t do me any good or the poor person on the other end of the phone who’s day I have also probably just wrecked… wish I knew how to meditate 🙂
So with nothing really resolved I have written a very cross letter, which is probably also fairly inarticulate as I am too incandescent with rage to put together something coherant and non-rambling. But I am going to stick it in an envelope and post it anyway and hope that between letter and phonecall I finally get a resolution of this sorry saga and can go forward without ever having to deal with this incompetant organisation ever again. The End!

  1. British gas are my least favourite company, haven’t had too many problems with powergen – water companies are a complete waste of space as well..

  2. Nope not Npower 🙂 Clearly we all need to go back to the days of getting our water from a well and doing our cooking and heating round an open fire – well I do anyway – and then I won’t have to deal with such IDIOTS! Grrr

  3. tim keeps trying to talk me into buying the domain name rcrap.co.uk – could then put subdomains up with little review pieces of their interaction with their customers…
