I thought I was giving blood today but I’ve just checked the letter and it’s Thurday instead. So I’m going to continue being efficient and productive instead:
Get some washing done – I’ve brought in the least soggy stuff off the line and as we’ve relented to turning the heating back on again it’s airing rather than drying. I’ve sorted all the laundry into piles and started the first load – even if it’s going to hang on the line it’s better clean and wet than dirty surely?
I need to finish reading a book for reading group tonight and try and make some inroads into the next one. We’re reading the short list for the Orange Prize – there are six books to read before the winner is announced on 6th June and we’re having a library event I’m not doing very well, so far I’ve read two of the books and have another four to go – doubt I’ll manage that in 3 weeks when none of them even look that appealing!
I really want to get my ebay pile listed, that’s my first task with regular breaks for reading, eating, drinking tea and quite possibly coming back here.
Kids are watching Watership Down and playing with the toy animals at the same time so they’re occupied.
I’ve put on my SuperNic T shirt and I’m off to do an hour’s photographing and ebay listing followed by an hours reading before lunch. I will be back (said with a flounce of my cape :lol:).
