Been a nice day here. Did the food shopping for next week as we went to get a mallet and Sainsburys is next door to Halfords where I got that, plus we were running low on food generally, so that’s out of the way early.
The children have done drawing, played with k’nex, watched a Dr Seuss video, been very excited about tents and very well behaved whilst food shopping.
I’ve put up a tent (might have mentioned that! 😉 ) made flapkjacks that fell apart as I got them out of the tin and frozen pizza for dinner – impossible to be a muffin and a capable outdoorsy type in the same day clearly 😉 and resumed my muffin status slightly by starting to sew a birthday present of a rag doll style soft toy.
Tomorrow we’re planning an at home day with a possibility of Family Film Night which they were too tired to enjoy tonight and getting stuff together in one place ready for the jigsaw puzzle that will be packing everything we need for the week in Ady’s car.
