well I’m back….

and I’m sure you will not be too surprised to discover I have lots to say but as it is 1am, I am very tired and Scarlett has been sat on my lap for the last hour and a half pointing at pictures of children she knows and oohing and ahhing (particularly at the pink hearts on Ros’ blog) as I clicked round catching up on blogs I think it might have to wait until tomorrow.

A quick round up to tell you we had a mainly lovely time, I got very pissed off with my parents on a couple of occassions and it was not quite the relaxing and peaceful week I had hoped for, but it did have many highlights and those will be what I dwell on when I blog tomorrow.

We took loads of photos which I will get flickrized also, and Davies had a lovely birthday. Quick thanks to Barbara’s Ben for his birthday phone call that morning (and the gorgeous card and pressie we arrived home to – thanks 🙂 🙂 ), Karen B’s phonecall (sorry I didn’t return it – signal was patchy and I never found the right moment) and various texts from various people (you know who you are!)

I’ve done as much of a catch up as I can manage without surrendering myself to the next 24 hours solidly reading blogs (amazingly I do not read quick as quickly as I write!!) and lists and have not commented anywhere, so have hugs if you need/ needed them, considered yourself ‘lol’d ‘ at if you were funny and if you posted any pictures then your children are beautiful, you are slim and gorgeous and your bum most certainly does not look big in this. If your children have learnt to read/write/play an instrument / do long division / crochet / walk / talk / load the dishwasher or got themselves a paper round, then well done all of you. If you have been celebrating a birthday, anniversary, early Christmas (I hear it’s happening in Dobbies in Ayr!) or other such sentimental occassion then congratulations 🙂

Tomorrow I will be mostly washing clothes.
